Position Summary
This position is responsible for pursuing exclusively New Business using all outboard sales activities.  You will implement a strategic sales approach in targeting prospective companies.  Individuals in this role will apply their research/analytical skills, ability to build client relationships and consultative sales skills to understand the client needs. The most successful individuals are consistent, have a strong work-ethic, patient and exceed client expectations.

Major Job Functions (%)
Lead Generation/Customer Research for New Business (20%)
  • Research assigned territory for prospects that align with our business objectives and import into salesforce.
  • Follow-up on all leads including partner and client referrals and those generated via Orange Tree marketing campaigns.
  • Daily development and management of your personal sales pipeline.
Customer Exploration (40%)
  • Initiate contact to clients to gain client meetings.
  • Determine decision makers and client authority.
  • Establish relationships as necessary with key partner representatives.
  • Discover business requirements, budget, decision process, impending business events, timeline, and business priority for client projects.
 Sales/Sales Closure (30%)
  • Prepare comprehensive and accurate proposal for clients.
  • Work with function team members to customize client solutions.
  • Drive and maintain high customer satisfaction with timely, accurate and thorough follow-up.
  • Negotiate final sales price, terms and conditions with clients.
 Other (10%)
  • Forecast sales opportunities per sales management guidelines.
  • Build and retain solution knowledge of Orange Trees’ offerings.
  • Become an expert on discovering, qualifying, and positioning Orange Tree solutions to differentiate our capabilities in the marketplace.
  • Utilize sales tools including:  Salesforce, Proprietary Solution Configurator, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office.
Immediate Challenges
  • Become competent on the Orange Tree Employment Screening services.
  • Understand the Orange Tree Sales Process.
  • Build a Sales Pipeline.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but note required. 
  • Passionate about New Business vs Account Management – HUNTER mentality.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute an aggressive direct sales strategy and drive revenue growth without support from a name brand company (3M, Apple, etc.).
  • 5 years of proven success in driving new business in a complex consultative selling process.
  • Background check and/or screening experience.
  • Manage sales funnel and reporting in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Hands-on, self-assured, customer centric professional who has a track record of developing long lasting relationships.Demonstrate efficient and productive work habits to meet deadlines and create a positive environment to motivate others.
  • Technology:  working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), working knowledge of CRM systems.
